Reporting
For the 2026/27 season, NorCal Premier has streamlined referee reporting. Red cards are now reported directly within the NorCal App, and referees only need to fill out a Referee Match Report for a game that had an incident that needs to be reported (see below).
Red Card Reporting
Red Cards are all reported within the NorCal App. Referees no longer need to fill out a separate report to report red cards within NorCal matches.
Referee Match Report
A NorCal Referee Match Report should be filled out by the referee for a match that needs to be reported to NorCal, such as:
- Game Abandonment
- Mass Confrontation
- Sideline Issues
- Discriminatory Behavior
- Serious Injury
- Other issues as needed
Referees are required to fill out a Referee Match Report within 48 hours of a match that had an incident.
To submit a Referee Match Report, you must have a GotSport account. If you do not have a GotSport account, you will be prompted to create one when you click the link (screenshot below). If you already have a GotSport account as a referee, make sure you use the email associated with your referee log-in.

Once you have logged in you will be prompted to select the event and match number that this report is tied to. Make sure you select the correct event name (located on the match card), and the correct game number (also located on the match card).

After you enter the match # and hit continue, the form will automatically pull in the team information from the match. You will then have to select your team. Please select the HOME TEAM on this page.

Once you have selected the home team, please fill out all information on the final page related to the send off.
Once you have completed the form DO NOT ADD COMMENTS IN THE CHAT BOX. This area is for NorCal to communicate with the teams involved in the match, and we do not want team officials speaking to referees through this area.
