NorCal App — launching Fall 2026 on Android and iOS

NorCal Premier Soccer is excited to launch the NorCal App, a dedicated mobile application that will enhance the way clubs, coaches, players, families, and fans experience soccer throughout our community. Available now in the Apple App and Google Play Stores, the app provides one place to manage matches, follow teams, and stay connected to the game as it happens.

Matchday Digitization

The new NorCal App will give every coach and manager a full digital match day experience, including:

  • Digital game day rosters
  • Digital IDs for players and team staff
  • Fully integrated match reporting

Digitalized gameday experiences. Our tailor-made app integrates seamlessly with GotSport. Team admins can add rosters and lineups with just a few taps, and the intuitive game reporting feature makes it easy to log goals, cards, and substitutions in real time as the action unfolds.No new workloads for team managers, match officials, or club admins — everyone simply does what they already do, only smarter and fully digitalized.

Fully Integreated with GotSport

The NorCal App is fully integrated into the GotSport systems and processes you already use. Coaches and managers are automatically connected to their GotSport team roles, giving them admin roles and permissions based on their GotSport roles. This allows coaches and managers to manage most of team admin directly in the app, including:

  • Game chats and team to team communication
  • Schedules and standings
  • Score and game reporting

Never miss a game or goal. NorCal schedules update automatically across competition, club, and team pages. With a personalized game calendar and configurable notification settings for each team you follow, you'll never miss a kickoff, goal, or highlight again.

Fan Engagement

Anyone, anywhere can follow any team in NorCal. This means that families can follow games in real time, receive personalize notifications for the teams the care about, and watch livestreams or replays from anywhere – whether they make it to the field or not. This allows teams and clubs to build connections with their broader community and engage fans from around the world. Every team and club can:

Follow the action and share the passion - whoever and wherever you are. Connect to your roles in teams, clubs & leagues. And follow the teams that matter to you as family, friend, or fan. The NorCal App personalizes your experience and brings every game to life with instant updates, including lineups, live scores, photos, livestreams, stats, and standings. Cheer on your teams and share your love of the game through innovative fan engagement features built for the whole soccer community.

  • Live report all the action from any game including, goals, assists, subs, cards, etc. Each live report delivers a notification to anyone following the match and keeps everyone up to date on all the action.
  • Livestream the game from a Veo or Spedio camera, or directly from the app on a phone.
  • Fans can interact with any of the game content with comments, videos and pictures.
  • All content is moderated for safety, and can be removed at any time by reporting content.
  • Teams can turn on a setting to disallow pictures and video from their games at any time.

Watch live,
watch later or watch on repeat. The NorCal App makes it simple for authorized users at the field to stream games live — whether directly from the app or from a supported camera. Scoreboards update automatically from game report data, and highlights can be tagged in real time and pushed straight to viewers. Catch the livestream, the replay, or the auto-generated highlight reel — all in one place.

 

Privacy and Control

The NorCal App has robust safety features for clubs, teams and individuals and is significantly safer than posting game info on general social media channels. In addition to AI monitoring of all content, clubs, teams and parents have access to their privacy settings, including:

  • Teams turning off pictures and videos for their games
  • Child settings for each guardian which hides any photos and names of their children

Get involved - and do it with respect. Everyone at the game can contribute with photos, videos, and comments, while those at home can follow along and cheer on their team. Both teams share the same game content feed, so together, they create complete coverage of every match. Respect is at the heart of the experience. The NorCal App includes innovative features to block inappropriate content, and anything that slips through can be reported and removed in real time. Whether you're at the field or following from the app, you're helping create a positive atmosphere and culture of fair play for players, officials, and the community.

Media Sites

Every club, team and player get’s their own professional level media site, which includes standings, stats, highlights, photos, etc. Any content in the app is automatically organized into individual media sites for each participant.

Media sites for Competitons, Clubs and Teams. Every competition, club and team gets its own media page — built automatically as content rolls in. Check the schedule, see how your team is doing, and watch the best moments from any competition. Club and team pages bring it all together, with player stats and highlights in one easy spot. Your privacy matters. Team admins and player guardians can choose exactly what player information is shown.

Sponsorships

The NorCal App’s features are not just being provided for free to all clubs, teams and participants, the app also creates a digital ecosystem that every club and team can leverage to sell digital ad space. Built directly into the app, sponsorship is as easy as uploading a logo into your admin page (sponsorship instructions). In giving this away for free to every club and team, NorCal hopes to create simple ways to defray the costs of participation by engaging your local community.
