PAD Reporting

There are three separate reports that are all reviewed and ruled on by the NorCal PAD Committee. Please make sure that you fill out the appropriate form to ensure that it gets to the proper place.

PAD Incident Report

The PAD Incident Report is used to report violations of the NorCal Code of Ethics or issues between clubs, such as recruiting or field issues, that can not be resolved between club leadership. NorCal believes that club leaders are usually best positioned to solve issues between clubs, and often find better solutions than NorCal can. As such we strongly encourage club directors to speak directly regarding any issue with another club before bringing it to NorCal’s attention. If no resolution can be found between club leadership, the club may file a PAD Incident Report for NorCal to weigh in and issue a decision. A PAD Incident Report may only be filed by a club’s President, Executive Director, or Director of Coaching/ Technical Director.

PAD Match Report

The PAD Match Report is used to report any issue related to a NorCal game, such as a game protest, forfeit, or scheduling issue. A PAD Match Report should be filled out by a team official associated with the team in question (Coach or Manager).

PAD Match Report Form

The NorCal PAD Match Committee will meet weekly to review and rule on all Match Reports. If filed by 3pm on Monday, you can expect to have a ruling before Friday at noon of the same week.

How to File a PAD Match Report

If a Match Report is filled out by one of your opponents, you will receive a notification once there is a comment entered in the chat in the form of a ruling from NorCal, or a request for response. Once notified you will have 48 hours to respond via the form chat feature before NorCal issues a ruling. If no response is given, the PAD Match Committee will proceed with a decision based on the information available to it at the time.

How to View/ Respond to a PAD Match Report

Once a ruling has been issued by the committee, the report will be closed and a notification sent to all parties informing them that a ruling has been made, along with instructions on how to view the ruling, as well as information on the appeal process.

Send Off Report

NorCal Send-Off Reports are filled out by the referee of the match and are not to be filled out by team officials (coach/ manager). Coaches and managers of the home team are required to report any red cards in their match via the Match Stats area of the score reporting.

How to Report Red Cards

Once a Send-Off Report has been filed by the referee of the match, the NorCal Suspensions Committee will review the report and issue a suspension for the player or coach based on the NorCal Disciplinary Matrix. The suspension will be communicated in the chat area of the Send-Off Report, and a notification will be sent to all team officials for teams involved in that match. To view the suspension, you can log into your GotSport account and view the form.

Additionally, NorCal will post a full list of all suspensions each week in a searchable document.
