NorCal Competition Considerations
2026/27 Season
Effective date of Changeover
July 1st, 2026.
NorCal Summer League, Summer playdates and all subsequent competitions will utilize the new Age Group Dates.
Competition Qualification
There will be no changes to qualification for NPL or ECNL RL for next year. e.g. Teams will qualify for U17 NPL for 26/27 based on how they did in U16 in 25/26, regardless of what percentage of their roster remains from the previous year.
An increased emphasis will be placed on DOC feedback for State Premier League and State Cup Brackets.
Teams Staying Together
Teams may stay together as long as they play in the age group of their oldest player
