U9/U10 #NorCalStateCup Finals Recap

Seventy-one different titles were handed out Sunday as the U9 and U10 NorCal Premier Soccer State Cup concluded with final match at River Islands Sports Complex in Lathrop.

What started as a field of 582 teams was whittled down to just 142 before Sunday’s matchups after nearly 2,000 matches were played from the beginning of the group stages in August to November’s finals.

Overall, 133 clubs participated in the competition, but only three different entities lifted the title in the State division to earn the right to call themselves State champions.

CV Futbol Academy did the double on the day, winning both the U9 and U10 boys titles, with the U10 side repeating their championship from the previous year.

Meanwhile, on the girls side, Mustang SC captured the U9 trophy, while San Juan SC stayed on top for the second year running.

All brackets and results for every division can be found here.
