U19 Boys State Cup Semifinals Recap

U19 BOYS STATE SEMIFINAL A
5/11Palo Alto Blue 00
0-8
SC Sporting 00/01
In a game that was never particularly close, defending champions Santa Clara Sporting downed State Premier Championship side Palo Alto SC via an 8-0 scoreline. Santa Clara got goals from seven different players, with only Jesse Nieve-Leyva hitting the back of the net twice to keep Santa Clara’s title defense afloat.
U19 BOYS STATE SEMIFINAL B
5/11Atletico Santa Rosa
5-0
Breakers CCFA
Coming off an impressive 5-0 victory over San Juan SC, Atletico Santa Rosa ran back that same scoreline in the semifinals, this time against Breakers FC. Santa Rosa were clinical in front of the match in this one, scoring on braces from Alan Soto and strikes from Ryan Dieter and Zachary Batchelder before Victor Vargas capped off the action late with a tally of his own that sealed the deal for Atletico.
