U17 Girls NPL Showcase Preview

U17 Girls Champions League

In one of the closest title races in any division, State Cup finalists Vision Academy sit atop the Champions League with 30 points. Though they lead by just one point, a full three teams are currently on 29 points: Elk Grove Soccer, MVLA, and Marin FC. This is actually a three-game weekend for Vision, who have a game in hand on all of the other contenders but will have to battle through a gauntlet of matches on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to win the title. The only matchup between teams in the top four comes Sunday when Marin FC take on MVLA.

U17 Girls NPL 1

With just two games remaining, Players North have already clinched this division thanks to a 13-0-1 record and a plus-36 goal differential. Confirmed as the second-place squad are San Ramon FC, who lead third-place SF Elite by a 10-point margin.

U17 Girls NPL 2

Clovis Crossfire have all but finished this division off, holding a seven point lead over second-place San Carlos United, but the latter have a game in hand and could capture the title. In order to do so, San Carlos will need to win all three of their remaining games and have Clovis pick up no more than one point from their last two.
