NPL/ECNL-RL Matchday #7

We’re now entering the stretch run of the NorCal Premier Soccer spring league season as some title races have already been decided, while others could be this Saturday and Sunday all around the state. It’s now or never for teams to pick up a valuable three points and either keep their championship hopes alive or hold off relegation.

Here are your NPL/ECNL-RL games of the week:

U17 Girls ECNL-RL
4/27California Odyssey
12:00 p.m. @ Clovis East High School - East 5
IR Academy
The action is tight at the top of the U17 Girls ECNL-RL table as three sides sit within one point of each other with just a few matches left to play. One of those teams is IR Academy who currently lead the league with 22 points but travel down south to take on a California Odyssey side that needs three points to stay above the relegation zone.

U15 Girls ECNL-RL
4/28De Anza Force
3-0
Reno APEX
With each side desperately needing all three points, De Anza Force welcomed Reno APEX to the Bay Area last Sunday and defeated their opponents in convincing fashion. Graciela Ebner, Payden Cossey, and Megan Hellgren all scored to lead De Anza to victory.
U17 Boys ECNL-RL
4/28Los Gatos United
12:15 p.m. @ Leigh High School Football Stadium
Clovis Crossfire
In the first of our two featured matches this week in the U17 Boys ECNL-RL, Los Gatos United will look to extend their lead at the top of the table, which currently stands at just three points. In order to do that, though, they'll need to knock off a strong Clovis Crossfire side that currently sits in fifth place and played United to a 2-2 draw back in September.

U17 Boys ECNL-RL
4/28Eastshore Alliance
5-1
De Anza Force
Eastshore Alliance kept their title hopes alive with a resounding 5-1 victory over De Anza Force this past Sunday in the U17 Boys ECNL-RL. Celian Gout was instrumental for EAFC, scoring two goals, while setting up two others. Andrew Estrada, Bodi Rawles, and Dylan Knott also hit the back of the net to help Eastshore pick up all three points.
