In a back-and-forth match early in the day, the Folsom Lake Earthquakes managed to repeat as State Cup finalists thanks to a 2-1 victory over MVLA. Ethan Veirs started the scoring shortly before halftime for the Earthquakes, only for Oliver De Visser to equalize 12 minutes after the break. But Folsom simply wouldn’t give up, and they were rewarded for their efforts when Cole Porter scored 15 minutes from time to put Folsom in yet another final.

This moment belonged to Santa Clara Sporting, specifically, Rudolfo Pedroza Arevalos, who scored a free kick in the first half to put Santa Clara Sporting in yet another final. Marin FC pushed for an equalizer, but were ultimately unsuccessful in doing so, leaving Sporting to tend with the Folsom Lake Earthquakes for the ultimate goal.
