Saturday July 27th
- 9:30am- 10:00am Check In Fromm Hall 2497 Golden Gate Ave, 94118
- 10:00am – 10:15am Intro / Welcome (Lecture Hall/ Conference Room)
- 10:15am – 11:45 am Lecture 1 : Under the microscope the subtle qualities of elite players and essential game and craft knowledge for progressive coaching
- 11:45pm – 12:45pm Lunch provided (NorCal)
- 12:45pm – 2:00 pm Lecture 2 :Using Veo to compliment the coaching and self analysis process for continual and contextual development in both players and coaches
- 2:00pm – 3:15pm Lecture 3 : A player led performance analysis session for building individual development plans and generating coach player interaction
- 4:30pm – 8:00pm Man United v Arsenal (This watch along for the more serious coach will have optional tasks that are linked to mornings on field sessions to really cement the days learning with examples from the top level)
Sunday July 28th
- 8.30am Check In – Negoesco
- 9.00am-10.15 am Field session 1 – Negoesco – U18 SF Glens Academy: The lost art of teaching goal scoring and turning possession into goals
- 10.30-11.45am Field session 2 – Negoesco – U18 SF Glens Academy : Games for developing the fundamentals identified and for letting football develop in its natural environment (bringing street soccer to the training field)
- 11.45am-12.30pm Lunch (NorCal)
- 12.30pm-1.45pm Field session 3 – Negoesco – U15 SF Glens Academy: Taking the newly learnt concepts into an eleven a side environment
- 2:00 pm – 3:15 pm Field Session 4 – Negoesco – U15 SF Glens Academy: Paul McGuinness – Under the microscope in action and associated games and individual practices, taking elite player development into the grassroots landscape
- 3.15pm-4:30pm Field Session 5 – Negoesco – NorCal Premier PDP: Mick Phelan – Building Your System In Possession to produce positive and solution focussed football, incorporate the lessons from Under the microscope and risk winning football matches
- Closing Q and A on all learnings from the weekend and anything from the careers and experiences of the three educators and panelists
COST/REGISTRATION:
NorCal Members – $200 (Coaches coaching in NorCal Premier)
Non-NorCal Members – $300
The cost includes lunch, materials, and a certificate.
