California Cup is back with this weekend seeing finalists from this season’s NorCal Premier Soccer and SOCAL Soccer League’s U9-U12 State Cup competitions facing off against each other to determine one true State Champion for California. And that’s just where NorCal’s featured games this week come from, with each highlighted match containing one squad from each half of the state.
Here are your NorCal Premier Soccer games of the week:
U11 Girls California Cup |
3/30 | Mustang SC | | 8:00 a.m. @ Davis Legacy Field 2 | | Legends FC |
One of the most decorated sides in NorCal's recent history have been Mustang SC, who have won three straight State Cup titles and two Futsal State Cup championships in the last three years. The only thing left for this side is to claim the California Cup where they'll start their campaign off bright and early against SOCAL's State Cup champion in Legends FC. Having conceded just one goal during their State Cup run, Mustang SC will lean on their strong defense this weekend. |
U12 Girls California Cup |
3/30 | San Juan SC | | 11:00 a.m. @ Davis Legacy Field 2 | | San Diego Surf |
After losing in the State Cup final at the U11 age group, San Juan SC have been on a revenge tour all season, culminating in a State Cup victory a few months ago, their third in four years as a competitive team. In eight matches in State Cup, San Juan outscored their opponents by 43 goals, but will face a stiff test when they meet SOCAL State Cup champions San Diego Surf Saturday morning, with the winner of the game taking a stranglehold on the division. |
U10 Boys California Cup |
3/30 | CV Futbol Academy | | 11:00 a.m. @ Davis Legacy Field 1 | | Anaheim Futbol Club |
Saturday's game between CV Futbol Academy and Anaheim Futbol Club is a rematch of a 2024 California Cup game, with CV looking to show their improvement after falling to their SOCAL rivals last year. CV come into the match in better form than in 2024, though, as this time they're entering the competition as State Cup champions rather than runners-up. En route to lifting the trophy, CV won all nine of their matches and outscored their opponents by 29 goals. |
U12 Boys California Cup |
3/30 | FC Fresno | | 6:30 p.m. @ Davis Legacy Field 2 | | Sporting California |
In a rematch of last year's California Cup third place game, FC Fresno face Sporting California Saturday night in a contest that could decide each team's fate the following day. FC Fresno are coming into the match with three points already in the bag after they went undefeated in State Cup this year, while Sporting California earned their berth into the competition as SOCAL's runners-up. |
