Professional Game of the Week: San Jose Earthquakes vs. Seattle Sounders FC
When: Saturday April 8, 7:15 p.m.
Where: Avaya Stadium, San Jose
Competition: MLS
Additional Info: The San Jose Earthquakes (2-2-0) welcome defending MLS Cup champion Seattle Sounders FC (1-1-2) for a regular season home match that won’t disappoint. Fresh off scoring a hat trick for the US Men’s National Team at Avaya Stadium, USA legend Clint Dempsey heads down south looking for a result against the Earthquakes. He’ll have help in this pursuit in the form of Uruguayan international Nicolas Lodeiro, Stanford product Jordan Morris, and physical Panamanian center back Roman Torres. Tickets are available here.
Amateur Game of the Week: CD Aguiluchos USA vs. Sacramento Gold When: Sunday April 9, 2:00 p.m.
Where: Burrell Field, San Leandro
Competition: NPSL
Additional Info: CD Aguiluchos USA (2-0-0) enter this weekend’s match against former NPSL national champion Sacramento Gold (1-1-0) as one of two unbeaten sides left in the league’s tough Golden Gate Conference. Any result will put the Aguiluchos on top of the table as joint-leader Sonoma County Sol (2-0-0) is off this weekend.
College Game of the Week: UC Davis vs. Sacramento State 
When: Saturday April 8, 11:00 a.m.
Where: Aggie Soccer Complex, Davis
Competition: College Spring Season
Additional Info: Big West Conference rivals UC Davis and Sacramento State are set to meet in a friendly only in name, as the two opponents will get an early look at each other in the latest edition of the Causeway Classico. For the Aggies, it’s the first of two games they’ll play that afternoon, as they also welcome Chico State to Davis at 2:00 p.m. Entry to the match is free.
