OVERTIME RULES IN KNOCKOUT GAMES
In Group matches games will end in a tie. In Knockout Round (2nd Round, Quarters, Semis and Final) if the game ends tied the players will start a new game with the SAME TEAMS and play until a player scores (Golden Goal).
Dates: March 31st-April 2nd
Time: 6 PM – 8 PM
Format
PS4 Premier: Sixteen teams split into four groups of four with each team playing a single round robin their group. The top two from each group advance to the Quarterfinals. Third and fourth place are eliminated.
PS4 Gold: Twelve teams split into three groups of four with each team playing a single round robin in their group. The top two from each group and the two highest placing third place teams advance to the Quarterfinals. The remaining third place team and all fourth place teams are eliminated.
Xbox Premier: Eighteen teams split into three groups of four and two groups of three. Each team in a group of four plays a single round robin in their group. The group of three The groups of three will play a crossover with teams in the other group of three. The top two from each group of four and the top three of six in the group of three crossover advance to the Quarterfinals. The remaining teams are eliminated.
Xbox Gold: Sixteen teams split into four groups of four with each team playing a single round robin their group. The top two from each group advance to the Quarterfinals. Third and fourth place are eliminated.
Reporting Scores
All scores should be reported immediately following your match by the team that wins. If the game ends in a draw the listed home team should report.
