2023 U10-U14 Super Rec Cup Recap
After successfully hosting a version for the older age groups last month, NorCal Premier Soccer’s Super Rec Cup returned December 2 and 3 as the U10-U14 age groups competed at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex.
Recreational teams from all across the state traveled to Davis to compete against similar-level teams in what was described as a festive environment for all participants.
“After we were fortunate enough to host an excellent event last month for the U16-U19 age groups, we couldn’t have been more excited to see the younger teams out there on the pitch this weekend,” said NorCal Grassroots Director Andrew Taylor. “This latest edition of the Super Rec Cup exceeded all expectations.”
“The event was a true celebration of soccer, with players of all skill levels coming together to create an incredibly festive environment where fun was had by all,” Taylor added. “On behalf of NorCal, I’d like to thank all of the players, coaches, parents, and referees who helped make this event possible.”
“We can’t wait to host the Super Rec Cup again next year.”
Overall 124 teams competed, playing in 202 games over the weekend. The event began with each of the teams playing three group stage matches before cutting to the championship round, ending with a total of 19 different champions crowned.
