10 Clubs Accepted into NorCal NPL

Though nearly 300 clubs compete in NorCal Premier Soccer’s leagues each year, only a select few are designated as NPL Clubs, ensuring that their top teams from each age group automatically gain entry into NorCal’s National Premier League.

And while many retain their designation as an NPL Club for a sustained period of time, only a handful of new clubs are determined to meet the standards of admission each year.

With that noted, NorCal Premier Soccer is proud to announce the provisional acceptance of 10 member clubs to NorCal’s NPL—Alameda SC (Girls), ECFC Salinas (Boys and Girls), FC Fresno Academy (Boys), JSC Soccer Club (Boys), Pajaro Valley (Boys and Girls), Reno APEX (Boys and Girls), Santa Clara Sporting (Boys), Stockton TLJ (Boys), Silicon Valley Eagles (Boys), and WSC Crush (Girls).

“We’re excited to add these NPL Clubs for the 2025-26 season,” said NPL Commissioner Kelcey Chaidez. “These clubs have all shown commitment to NorCal Premier Soccer and continue to uphold high competitive, organizational, and technical standards. Each club will be a welcome addition to the NorCal NPL.”

In order to earn their spot as an NPL Club, each of those selected had to meet a rigorous set of criteria that included excelling in the following areas:

  • Club leadership
  • Quality of technical program
  • Player pool
  • Football environment: training and game
  • Competitiveness: results vs. competitiveness

As provisional NPL Clubs, each club will have automatic entry into the U13 NPL and U12 Pre-NPL divisions each year, priority consideration for U16-U19 teams to compete in the NorCal College Showcase, and access to use the NorCal NPL logo on their website and in marketing materials.
