U19 GIRLS STATE QUARTERFINAL A
4/28Livermore Fusion
3-2
Sacramento United
At the break, this tie appeared to be already decided as Sacramento United led Livermore Fusion by three goals thanks to strikes from Ally Lassetter, Cassandra Herman and Marwah Abdali, whose absolute golazo seemed to seal the game. But Livermore clawed back into it and made things interesting thanks to a brace from Danielle Castro. Still, the Fusion couldn’t get that important third goal and were forced to bow out of the competition.

That turned into a two-goal advantage when Megan Clifton scored on a flashing header for West Coast in the 68th minute, only for Ceres to score goals from Agigail Martinez and Larranaga in the last 15 minutes to take the game to overtime, where they won.
