CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

NPL Champions

Davis Legacy 98

2nd Place

Force

In a Saturday match between the only two teams who could possibly win the U19 Women’s Champions League, Davis Legacy left no doubt as to who the best team in the division was. The Legacy defeated second-place Force by a 4-0 scoreline to wrap up the title, finishing 7-0-0 after a Sunday win against Santa Clara Sporting. The Legacy powered through this division with fireworks in nearly every game, scoring 35 goals and allowing 10. West Coast Wild finished a distant third, six points behind Force, and 12 behind Davis.

NPL 1

With a game still remaining in the U19 Women’s NPL 1, Palo Alto SC have already wrapped up the title, scoring a pair of victories over the weekend in the NPL College Showcase. Sitting six points behind 6-0-0 Palo Alto are Blues FC (4-1-0) and Placer United (4-2-0), who will likely contend with each other in the race for second place.

NPL 2

Santa Clara Sporting undoubtedly impressed the numerous college coaches in attendance of the NPL College Showcase in scoring three goals each day to capture the U19 Women’s NPL 2 title on the final match day of the season for most teams. However, with one match remaining between Palo Alto SC and North Coast, the race for second is still open, with Palo Alto needing just a draw to claim second, while North Coast needs a win.

NPL 3

In finishing with a perfect 5-0-0 record, the Santa Cruz Breakers wrapped up the U19 Women’s NPL 3 division fairly easily, scoring 20 goals and allowing just two. Meanwhile, the race for second is still open, West Coast Soccer (3-2-0) the clear favorites to garner that finish.
