But the Legacy dropped both of their games and ceded the title to Blues FC (18 points), who defeated FC Elk Grove and Placer United by a combined 12 goals. None of the teams played each other in the showcase, but thanks to earlier results in the season, Mustang required just three points to claim the title. They did so Sunday with a 1-0 result over West Coast Soccer, meaning that the pair of wins that Diablo and Santa Clara posted in the Showcase were ultimately not enough to win the division.

Division Winner

South Valley United

Prior to the Showcase, 21-point South Valley United had already clinched the division title and the NPL 1 spot that comes with it. Finishing in second place, Sacramento United (13 points), who clinched an NPL 2 spot in the Spring.
