| The U17 boys division’s final will see one of the most anticipated matches of the weekend take place as Sacramento United face Union Sacramento in a derby that really could go either way. Both sides took part in a crazy NPL Champions League in which just eight points separated first place from last. And while only meeting between the two came in a 2-2 draw back in April, United look to have a slight advantage over Union after finishing six points ahead of them in the standings. But the cup form for Union has arguably been better -- United qualified for the final on kicks from the mark after falling behind in both their semifinal and quarterfinal matchups. Meanwhile, Union have rolled into the final on an absolute tear, scoring 15 goals and allowing just two in their three knockout round games. |
