| Both these squads head into the semifinals having scored big 3-0 victories in the previous round of the tournament, but it was the Turlock Tornados who had to fight much harder for their spot. In a win over EC Real Galaxy, the Tornados saved a penalty and fought off waves of attack for the entirety of the match, while Lamorinda cruised to a victory over EBU Bay Oaks Gold in a match that never seemed to be in question. |

| After an NPL Champions League title, SJ Earthquakes PDA enter the State Cup semifinals as the favorite to capture the title. The Earthquakes managed to advance this far thanks to a 2-0 win over Atletico Santa Rosa Bayern in a physical match that saw both teams attack for the entirety of the match. In their way of a final are Santa Clara Sporting Green, who knocked off a tough Odyssey South Black squad in the quarterfinals via a 2-0 scoreline. |
