| In scoring twice in the first 12 minutes before putting the clamps down on a strong Davis Legacy attack, Marin FC Blue showed that they deserved to be in the State Cup semifinals after a 2-1 quarterfinal victory. Standing in their way of a final, however, is Vision Academy, a powerful side that just missed out on capturing the NPL Champions League title two weeks ago. Vision’s form in the State Cup has been impeccable, as they’ve scored nine goals in two knockout round games, including a 5-1 win over CV SJ Earthquakes Academy in the quarterfinals. |

| As they have in both league and cup play all throughout the spring, FC Elk Grove Platinum stifled their latest opponent’s attack, besting EBU Bay Oaks Gold via a 1-0 scoreline to reach the semifinal stage of the competition. Their solid defense has allowed just one goal in three knockout round games, with the solitary strike coming from a Force ECNL side that finished third in the NPL Champions League. Meanwhile, Placer United Gold enter this stage of the competition after a 2-0 win over Mustang SC in which Mustang failed to create many clear chances. |
