U14 Girls NPL Spring Showcase: Preview

PSV Union enter the weekend with a three point cushion in this division, but despite that cushion, it’s Placer United’s race to win. Placer, who are on 12 points to PSV’s 15, come into the weekend with both a game in hand and the first tiebreaker after Placer defeated Union 2-1 just a few weeks ago. Both Placer and PSV take on seventh-place Marin FC (0-2-3) on the weekend, while Placer also faces a tough Sunday opponent in Force (1-1-2) in a game that will likely decide which club books their trip to Indiana in the summer. In the battle for second place, only MVLA are still alive and can solidify at least a top-3 finish with a win in their only remaining game: a Sunday match against Central California Soccer Alliance.
