NPL/ECNL-RL Matchday #3

After most teams took Labor Day Weekend off, all the scintillating action in the NPL and ECNL-RL resumes this Saturday and Sunday as teams from all across the state look to earn a valuable three points. While the majority of leagues have only held a few matchdays so far, these next few games are imperative to teams looking to win or retain their titles.

Here are your NPL/ECNL-RL games of the week:

U15 Girls ECNL-RL

Reno MVLA
San Juan South continued their perfect start to the season this past weekend, beating Reno MVLA 5-0. Alessandra Barajas bookended the match with goals, while Kailee Jackson, Holland Delay, and Jade Ambritz each hit the back of the net once to help San Juan South record the victory.
U19 Boys ECNL-RL
9/9De Anza Force

El Dorado Hills Soccer Club
In a battle between the top two sides in the U19 Boys ECNL-RL, De Anza Force will host El Dorado Hills Soccer Club in a game that could go a long way in deciding the division title. EDHSC currently sit in first with five points from three games, while De Anza have played just one match, a win against Briceno Soccer Club.

U16 Boys ECNL-RL

Stanford Strikers FC
Despite scoring two first half goals, San Ramon FC fell to Stanford Strikers FC via a 3-2 scoreline Saturday. San Ramon held the lead until late in the second half when Stanford scored goals in the 66th, 68th, and 72nd minutes to earn all three points.
U19 Girls ECNL-RL

Pajaro Valley YSC
In the U19 Girls ECNL-RL, two teams have already picked up six points so far this season, while weekend opponents Santa Clara Sporting and Pajaro Valley YSC have played just a single game between them. Sporting fell 2-1 to Blackhawks SC during the last matchday, while Pajaro will be opening up their season Sunday in Santa Clara.
