Professional Game of the Week: Sacramento Republic FC vs. San Jose Earthquakes
When: Wednesday March, 22 7:30 p.m.
Where: Papa Murphy’s Park, Sacramento
Competition: Friendly
Additional Info: Two of the three professional clubs in Northern California meet for the second, and likely, last meeting of the year in Wednesday’s friendly in Sacramento. For Sacramentans, this represents the last chance of the year to see stars like US Men’s National Team striker Chris Wondolowski and locally-grown Tommy Thompson. Amateur Game of the Week: Napa Valley 1839 FC vs. CD Aguiluchos USA
When: Saturday March 25, 7:00 p.m.
Where: Memorial Stadium, Napa
Competition: NPSL
Additional Info: Come watch as Napa 1839 FC plays in its first-ever league match, facing Golden Gate Conference rivals CD Aguiluchos USA. Both sides will be looking for wins in an ultra-competitive conference that also features former NPSL national title winners Sacramento Gold FC and Sonoma County Sol.
