NorCal Premier Soccer begins annual Foundation drive
NorCal Premier Soccer has begun its annual Foundation drive, with the goal of raising at least $20,000 to help fund underprivileged programs to buy new equipment, help youth players play the game, and combat the continued rising costs of youth soccer overall.
“Our mission is to help grow the sport of soccer in Northern California’s underserved communities through guidance, financial and logistics support, programs development, and as an intermediary to connect those with the ability to give help to the communities with needs,” said Foundation Director Nick Lusson. “We believe in using soccer as a force for social change in both the growth of the individual and communities.”
NorCal is asking for donations to this annual fundraising drive in any amount possible — everything helps.
100 percent of the funds will go directly to our summer grant cycle, which provides financial support to youth soccer programs working in low-income, disadvantaged communities in Northern California.
Last year, NorCal gave out $25,000 in grants and are looking to significantly increase that in 2017.
Your donation dollars can help provide a scholarship to a single player or an entire team, or help a club in buying much-needed equipment or supporting accessible soccer programming.
All donations are tax deductible to NorCal Premier Soccer Foundation as a 501c3 non-profit organization.
