Mustang Soccer Facility to host Referee Development Program Meeting
Dear Referee Coordinators and Assignors,
If you are a NorCal Referee Coordinator or Assignors in Region 3 & 4 we would like to invite you to attend a meeting on March 18th. This meeting will be conducted by John Richer NorCal Region 3 & 4 Referee coordinator and guest speaker Bob Sabella NorCal Director of Referee Mentorship.
What: NorCal Region 3&4 Referee Development Program – 2018
Where: Mustang Soccer Facility, 4680 Camino Tassajara, Danville, CA 94506
When: Sunday, March 18th 2018 10am~2pm (Lunch will be provided)
Format: Classroom Program Overview: 10am~12 noon
Lunch (provided): 12~12:30pm
Field Sessions: 12:30~2pm

Please bring your whistle and flags plus be prepared to participate in the field sessions!
The purpose of the program is to address the long-standing need of all clubs with regard to their Referees. Almost all clubs, within Region 3&4 and beyond, are challenged with their Referee programs to provide enough Referees to fill every game and to improve the quality of Referees while dealing with the problem of turnover.
The purpose of this program is 3-fold:

1. Acquire new Referees
2. Develop all Referees
3. Retain Existing Referees
The NorCal Region 3&4 Board is committed to helping our clubs resolve these types of problems with the necessary resources and tools. This includes a roadmap and implementation guidance plus Referee Education & Training at convenient locations for your club’s Referees.
I am confident that we can make a success of this program to the benefit of all NorCal Region 3&4 clubs.
