Goal of the Month Clarification

Since announcing our new Goal of the Month competition, NorCal Premier Soccer has been excited with the amount of submissions and quality of goals received.

However, we would like to make some clarifications to the criteria of said competition.

First off, since the Goal of the Month is sponsored by NorCal, it must come in a NorCal competition, like the State Cup, the NPL, our vast array of youth premier leagues, or any other competition run under the NorCal umbrella.

Secondly, the goal must be current — only goals scored in the month in question will be considered, though we are allowing goals from the start of games in August this year to be submitted until the end of September.

Lastly, we’re asking submissions to include all the relevant information about the goal, including the date, the name of the goalscorer, the competition it was scored in, and who the opponent was.
