Nine New Clubs Join NorCal Premier Soccer

NorCal Premier Soccer is pleased to announce the addition of nine new member clubs to begin play in the fall 2025 season, increasing current membership to nearly 300.

Joining the fold will be Calaveras United FC, Central Coast FC, Ceres Youth Soccer Organization, County Line SC, Delhi FC, Golden Gate SC, Ranchos FC, Terra Bella FC, and Woodland Alianza FC.

“We would like to extend our gratitude to the members of the New Club Committee for their diligence and thoroughness throughout the process of evaluating these new clubs,” said NorCal President Benjamin Ziemer. “Over time, we have significantly enhanced the vetting process for new clubs and refined the onboarding process to ensure that the clubs we accept are not only ready but are also fully equipped to begin their journey in our league with confidence and enthusiasm.”

“In our pursuit of expanding access to the beautiful game, particularly through the establishment and growth of soccer clubs, it has become increasingly necessary that we must always be intentional and thoughtful in our growth strategies,” Ziemer elaborated. “This includes taking into careful consideration the availability and accessibility of essential resources such as fields, qualified coaches & referees, and, most importantly, players. This year, a significant number of the newly accepted clubs are located in areas that historically have had fewer clubs, a strategy we believe mitigates the impact on established clubs while simultaneously providing greater opportunities for aspiring soccer players and fostering healthy competition across the board.”

“As these newly established clubs begin their journey within NorCal Premier Soccer, they will integrate into the club soccer pyramid,” Ziemer added. “Each club carries its unique vision and aspirations for its football community, and we are genuinely excited to extend our support and guidance as they navigate the club soccer environment.”

“We wish these clubs the best as they embark on their journey within NorCal Premier Soccer competitions.”

Below is an overview of each of the nine new NorCal member clubs:

Calaveras United FC – Region 8

One of the newest clubs joining NorCal Premier Soccer, Calaveras United FC are headquartered in Valley Springs, a small community 30 miles east of Lodi.

After working towards creating a club since 2020, Calaveras United FC finally became an official organization in 2024 with two boys teams and one girls team making up the entirety of club membership.

“Our goal as a club is to encourage, inspire, and empower each player and coach to reach the highest level possible within the game and life, while helping create leaders and individuals who will inspire others to do the same,” said Calaveras Secretary Stefanie Gray. “We are very excited to be affiliated with NorCal.”

Central Coast FC – Region 2

Established in 2023, Central Coast FC was created to provide local talent with top-level local competition and development opportunities in Watsonville.

With 10 competitive teams ranging across the 2012-2018 age groups, CCFC first began play last fall.

“More than just a club, Central Coast FC is a movement dedicated to keeping kids healthy, active, and thriving in the sport they love,” the club said in a statement. “We proudly serve over 100 Pajaro Valley Unified School District students, providing them with a pathway to competitive soccer and personal growth. We believe in trusting the process and are grateful for this opportunity to grow within such a remarkable organization.”

“The future is bring and we are excited to contribute to the continued success of competitive soccer on the Central Coast,” the club added.

Ceres Youth Soccer Organization – Region 8

With more than 1,000 players spread across its competitive and recreational programs, Ceres Youth Soccer Organization joins NorCal as a well-established club in the Central Valley.

Founded in 1982, CYSO has been a part of the Ceres community for almost five decades and has served as the starting point for several players who have gone onto bigger things, such as current Chivas attacker Cade Cowell.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of NorCal and are so excited for what the future holds with the continued growth of our program,” said CYSO Director of Coaching Alfredo Campos.

County Line SC – Region 6

Founded last year, County Line SC currently has two boys teams and two girls teams that will join the NorCal fold starting in the fall in Galt, a city 30 miles south of Sacramento.

County Line’s teams will begin in the U10 and U12 age groups.

“As a young community club, we have yet to push any players onto the next level but we look forward to starting from the ground up to create a great environment for players to learn and develop to their potential,” said County Line SC Technical Director Jon Scoles.

“Our core philosophies are creating a player-centered environment where players are taught how to make good decisions and are allowed to make mistakes,” Scoles added. “We strive to provide a safe and fun environment for players to learn and develop to their potential.”

Delhi FC – Region 8

Located just south of Turlock, Delhi FC has been around since 1994, but it wasn’t until last year that the club first formed its competitive arm after requests from community members.

Currently, the club has 13 teams, all on the boys side, featuring squads in 11 different age groups.

“We are a club committed to the pursuit of excellence through continuous improvement in everything we do as players, coaches, and as a club,” said Delhi FC President Froylan Flores. “We strive to provide the best possible soccer experience and training environment for our players. Soccer will be used to instill the qualities of ambition, leadership, teamwork, respect, service to others, and the pursuit of excellence.”

“‘One Club, One Community’ is our slogan and true to our philosophy,” Flores added. “Soccer is the center of our community. We really want these players to feel the need to be a part of and help their community grow–we want to have great players on and off the pitch.”

Golden Gate SC – Region 1

Founded in 2020, Golden Gate SC is the latest club from San Francisco to join NorCal Premier Soccer.

While Golden Gate SC currently only field boys teams from the U9 to U13 age groups, there are plans to expand further from what is currently a close-knit community.

“We are incredibly excited and proud to officially be a part of the NorCal Premier Soccer community,” said GGSC Director of Coaching Mady Ndao. “This moment represents a dream come true for all of us at Golden Gate Soccer Club, to be associated with an organization that stands for excellence, growth, and the continued development of youth soccer in California.”

“This acceptance motivates us to work even harder, to keep building, learning, and growing as a club,” Ndao added. “We look forward to being part of the journey ahead and can’t wait to see our players thrive within this incredible platform.”

Ranchos FC – Region 7

Established three years ago, Ranchos FC helped fill the need for a competitive soccer club in Southeast Madera County–previously kids would have to travel roughly 30 miles to either Fresno or Clovis to play at a high level.

Ranchos FC currently features five competitive teams, with almost 100 total players, and has plans to further expand by offering a local, affordable, and high-level experience for its members.

“Ranchos FC is proud to represent a fast-growing and previously underserved region of California,” said Ranchos FC President Rigoberto Hernandez. “The demand for local, competitive soccer is only going to grow. By joining NorCal Premier, we’re not only raising the level of play in our community–we’re also helping more kids stay active, build confidence, and develop leadership through the game of soccer.”

Terra Bella FC – Region 7

Based just north of Bakersfield, Terra Bella FC was founded in 2022 with the goal of providing competitive soccer opportunities to their small community at a low cost.

The club currently has 10 teams, with the youngest age group going as far down as 2018.

“Terra Bella Futbol Club is more than just a soccer club–it’s a family,” the club said in a statement. “We work closely with local schools and recreational programs to grow the sport and give back to our community. We also provide financial support to players when needed, whether for soccer fees or education. Our goal is to not only develop great soccer players, but also strong, well-rounded individuals who will positively impact their community.”

Woodland Alianza FC – Region 6

Founded in 2022, Woodland Alianza FC is the latest club from the soccer mad city to join NorCal Premier Soccer.

Currently Woodland has six different teams, servicing the U8-U13 age groups, while also offering a summer academy for younger players and a winter futsal training camp.

“Our club’s goal is to positively impact the development of the youth in our community by providing soccer and life-enriching opportunities to players of all ages,” the club said in a statement. “We aim to play an active role in the leadership development and personal growth of our players, volunteers, and coaches.”

“We strive to create a lifelong passion for the beautiful sport of soccer,” the club added. “As a community based club, we value putting the player first and strongly believe that we can achieve all of our goals by focusing and teaching our players about the importance of player development, teamwork, respect, integrity, dedication, and sportsmanship.”
