As we approach the end of September, league races all throughout Northern California are heating up, with early leaders pushing for points and teams at the bottom of the table hoping to stave off relegation. This week we head over to the State Premier competition as teams at the top are hoping to earn a spot in the spring’s top division, setting up a potential push towards NPL promotion.

U14 Boys State Premier East

El Dorado Hills Soccer Club
Vacaville United currently sit at the top of the U14 Boys State Premier East with six points, three more than any other side. However, United have already played three matches, losing one. Meanwhile, El Dorado Hills Soccer Club have just three points, but have only played one match, a 5-0 victory that has them tied on points with four different teams in this tight division.
U16 Girls State Premier East

Football Club Alliance
In the six team U16 Girls State Premier East, two sides have currently taken charge at the top: Association Football Club and Football Club Alliance. In a table where every team has dropped points at least once, AFC are sitting atop, with eight points from four games. Meanwhile, FCA have two fewer points but have a game in hand.
