2018 NorCal State Cup Finals: Recap
Featuring 31 goals in 10 games in the State division, the 2017/18 NorCal Premier Soccer State Cup Finals this past weekend at Cosumnes River College certainly didn’t disappoint, with a wide variety of squads taking home one of the most coveted prizes in club soccer. While dozens of other clubs won championships in the 40 games in the Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper divisions all throughout the complex in Sacramento, nine different clubs claimed State titles, with Marin FC leading the way thanks to a pair of victories on the girls side. And for some other clubs, it was the culmination of a special season as the U17 Marin FC squad and the U19 Palo Alto team cemented memorable seasons with State Cup and Champions League doubles.
