22 Teams Claim Titles in the U10-U14 Super Rec Cup

For the third consecutive year, NorCal Premier Soccer hosted the U9-U14 Super Rec Cup, which took place this past weekend at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex.
With nearly 150 teams participating in the competition, the Super Rec Cup served as the culmination to each squad’s recreational season, creating a fun environment in which each team played against competition of a similar level.
“Our latest Super Rec Cup was one of the best attended events we’ve ever held, there was an incredible amount of passion out there as each team was well supported by family and loved ones,” said NorCal Grassroots Development Manager Andrew Taylor. “The entire weekend featured an incredible atmosphere surrounding the event.”
The event, which was open to NorCal member clubs and any recreational outfit affiliated with USSF within Northern California, featured 22 different divisions, with several going down to the wire.
Overall, 17 different clubs claimed titles with Oakdale Soccer Club and Roseville Youth Soccer Club leading the way with a total of three.
Other clubs to lift multiple trophies, with two each, included Natomas United and River Park Soccer Club.
Additionally, Capital Valley FC, Dixon DxStrikers, Elk Grove Soccer, Fair Oaks SC, Folsom Lake Surf, Fruitridge SC, Greenhaven SC, Konocti Youth Soccer League, Rancho Cordova SC, Rocklin FC, and Walnut Creek Surf each claimed titles to round out the winning sides.
“We can’t wait to host another Super Rec Cup, it’s truly one of the highlights of our year,” Taylor said. “At NorCal we will only strive to continue expanding our recreational soccer programming to make sure that everyone has a chance to play in these amazing competitions.”
