U9/U10 State Cup Semifinals/Finals This Weekend in Manteca

In a weekend packed full of events all across the state, perhaps none are as exciting as the conclusion of the U9/U10 NorCal Premier Soccer State Cup, set to take place Saturday and Sunday at Woodward Park in Manteca.

Overall, 232 teams are competing for their respective division titles, with a win or go home semifinal matchup Saturday. On Sunday, NorCal will recognize 60+ different champions, with the top teams in each age group earning the right to call themselves State Cup champions.

While most of the attention will be directed towards Manteca, four other sites around Northern California will play host to the younger State Cup’s U11-U13 gold, silver, and bronze divisions.

Mistlin Sports Complex in Ripon will play host to the U11 State Cup round of 16 and quarterfinals Saturday before hosting the same stages of the competition for the U12 age group Sunday.

The U13 State Cup will be split among the remaining three venues — River Islands Park in Lathrop, Granite Park in Sacramento, and Alden E. Oliver Sports Park in Hayward will feature round of 16 and quarterfinal games.

A select few U12 games will also be played in Lathrop.

The winners from the U11-U13 gold, silver, and bronze divisions this weekend will move onto the semifinals and finals December 11 and 12 at Mary Grogan Park in Modesto.
