Your game recaps:

U11 Boys

Barcelona Bay Area 7 – Mill Valley Soccer Club 1

Conceding the first goal, Barcelona Bay Area were down early only to come back with an emphatic victory to claim their State Cup title.

Mill Valley Soccer Club scored five minutes into the game, but their advantage wouldn’t last long as Barcelona scored twice before halftime to gain the lead before exploding for five goals in the second half to ultimately win 7-1.

On the day, Micah Kwende was the star, scoring a hat trick, while Kristopher Aguayo added a pair of strikes and Anthony Esqueda and Isaiah Cornejo each hit the back of the net.

U12 Boys

Clovis Crossfire 3 – Elite Soccer 1

In their fourth matchup of the season, each of which has been a thriller, Clovis Crossfire scored three second half goals to claim the U12 State Cup championship after both teams entered halftime scoreless.

Just five minutes into the second period, Clovis scored off of a corner kick, before doubling their lead 10 minutes later on a counter attack.

Up 2-0, Clovis scored for the final time with five minutes left, putting the game out of reach for Elite Soccer who would get on the scoreboard on a free kick in the last minute of regulation.

U13 Boys

Ajax United 3 – MCS ECFC Real Madrid 1

Despite going down a goal midway through the first half, Ajax United responded with three goals to take the U13 State Cup title by a scoreline of 3-1 over MCS ECFC Real Madrid.

After falling behind to MCS, it was Braden Herline who leveled the scoreline for Ajax, netting on a free kick to ensure that the game would head into halftime level.

Shortly after the break, Chad Kuykendall hit the back of the net for the eventual winning goal before adding a second to seal the victory.

U11 Girls

Stockton Storm 2 – California Thorns 0

Scoring on either side of halftime, the Stockton Storm clinched their State Cup victory thanks to goals from captain Caelan Lane and winger Nina Padilla.

Just 11 minutes into the game, Lane opened the match with a banger from outside the box, while Padilla helped ensure the victory by netting on a hustle play in the 54th minute.

U12 Girls

IR Academy Purple 2 – PSV Union 1

Playing in their third straight State Cup Final, IR Academy Purple captured their second straight title with a 2-1 victory over PSV Union.

With the scoreline 2-1 at the half, IR Academy showed their experience by seeing out the result in order to lift the trophy in consecutive years.

U13 Girls

San Juan SC Spirits ECNL 1 – MVLA Roma ECNL 0

In a rematch of the title game from two years ago, the game between San Juan SC Spirits ECNL and MVLA Roma ECNL was decided by just a solitary goal.

With the game scoreless at halftime, San Juan came out of the break looking for a goal and found one after Paloma Daubert was fouled just outside of the box.

Playing quickly, Spirits attacker Kate Zimmerman took a shot that rebounded off of the woodwork and fell to Yasmin Azar, who cleanly finished for the eventual game winner.
