Four different locations in Northern California hosted the U11-U13 NorCal State Cup for Gold, Silver, and Bronze division knockout stages on the boys side of the competition this past weekend.

Whether teams played at Fallon Sports Park in Dublin, Mistlin Sports Park in Ripon, Alden E. Oliver Sports Park in Castro Valley, or Turlock Sports Complex in Turlock, each division has now been narrowed down to the top four.

The weekend began in the round of 16 before the winners in those games either played in the quarterfinals later that day or the following day to determine who would advance to another slate of games.

Those left alive now have to wait until December 10 and 11 when NorCal will host the semifinal and final rounds at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex in Davis.

Meanwhile, the U11-U13 Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels will return the prior weekend as the girls are set to participate in the same rounds the boys just played on December 3 before joining the remaining boys the following weekend in Davis for the conclusion of both events.

By then, only a handful of the 754 teams that began the competition will remain on hand to contest for their division’s coveted trophy.
