U10 #NorCalStateCup Second Round, Quarterfinals Kick Off This Weekend
Two weeks after the U9 State Cup second round and quarterfinal games were played, the U10 edition of the competition returns this weekend at three different venues across Northern California.
Each team will play two group stage games on Saturday followed by a third group stage game on Sunday and an afternoon quarterfinal matchup. All games will be played at Granite Regional Park in Sacramento, Mistlin Sports Park in Ripon, or River Islands Sports Complex in Lathrop.
Overall 368 teams are participating in the competition, which will see 736 games played this weekend.
Teams who win their quarterfinal matches Sunday will advance to the semifinals, which will be held alongside the finals in Lathrop on November 11 and 12.
In a change that has been made just this year, the semifinals and finals for the U9 and U10 divisions will take place on the same day, ensuring that no team has to travel twice.
The U9 girls and U10 boys will play their semifinals and finals on November 11, while the U9 boys and U10 girls will play those two rounds on November 12.

On the boys side of the State Division, CV Futbol Academy have also qualified for the semifinals and will take on AC Marin for a place in the final. On the other side of the bracket are Reno APEX Soccer Club and Valley Surf.
