This weekend at four different sites around the state, the NorCal Premier Soccer U11-U13 State Cup returns for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Divisions on the girls side of the action.

Each winner of the club-hosted round of 32 will now move into a round of 16 matchup at San Juan Soccer Complex in Rancho Cordova, Mary Grogan Park in Modesto, Fallon Sports Park in Dublin, or Alden E. Oliver Sports Park in Hayward.

The winners will then move onto the quarterfinals this same weekend.

“We’re expecting an exciting weekend of games coming up as teams progress through their NorCal State Cup campaigns,” said NorCal U9-U13 State Cup Coordinator John Stoppelmann. “It’s great to see the passion that all these teams bring when they’re put into an evenly-matched environment where the players can really have fun and develop.”

Overall, 812 teams participated in the U11-U13 State Cup in these three divisions, with 484 on the boys side and 328 on the girls.

The boys already played their round of 16 and quarterfinal matchups, with the winners advancing to Finals Weekend alongside the girls, set to kick off December 9 and 10 at Mary Grogan, Fallon, and Robertson Park in Livermore.

All semifinals will take place December 9, with some finals kicking off that day as well. The majority of the finals are set for December 10, all of which will be played in Modesto.

Additionally, the State and Premier Divisions in the U11-U13 State Cup will take place this weekend, with club hosted round of 32 matchups.
