PDP Girls At Id2 National Camp
NorCal Premier Soccer has released the roster for their Northwest camp, which involves the top 1999 & 2000 born female players. The squad consists of 19 players from 11 different NorCal Premier clubs who will compete in Oregon from July 28th-August 1st.
The group will train at the University Of Southern Oregon, (Wednesday) followed by a game against Washington PDP (Thursday), both events in preparation for a final showcase match against the ID2 National team on Friday. The game will take place at Providence Park (Home of the Portland Timbers) . Players will also get to tour the famous Nike HQ’s which is the training headquarters for the ID2 camp.
NorCal’s PDP (Player Development Program) offer free training programs for the top youth soccer players in Northern California, who have been identified through NorCal’s scouting network. Players travel, accommodation and meals for this trip are fully funded through NorCal Premier.
PDP Girls Coordinator David Robertson, said he is “looking forward to watching our top players challenged against the very best players in the country under the watchful eye of US Scouts and top college coaches. Most of the girls have been in the program since its inception and have worked very hard to reach this point”.
