In a competition that has mostly just featured teams from the National Premier League, the NorCal College Showcase will again be joined by all teams from the local boys and girls ECNL conferences this year.

More than 100 college coaches are expected to be in attendance to watch ECNL and NPL teams play at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex over the course of two different weekends: November 12 and 13 for the boys and November 19 and 20 for the girls.

“We are excited to welcome back our local Northern California ECNL conferences to the NorCal College Showcase again in 2022,” said NorCal Premier Soccer Director of Competitions Daniel Chamberlain. “Hosting ECNL games at the Showcase has been a great addition to the level of play and we look forward to continuing to develop the partnership between NorCal and the ECNL.”

Applications for both showcases are open for all teams outside of NorCal and NorCal’s NPL and can be found here. The deadline to apply is October 17 for the boys and October 24 for the girls.

For more than a decade, NorCal has run one of the largest showcases in Northern California each year, with the competitive aspect of league fixtures boosting the level of play as college coaches look to scout their next stars.

Earlier this year, NorCal hosted its most recent showcase, drawing nearly 200 coaches at the first edition that included both NPL and ECNL teams.
