EBU Bay Oaks 0 – Marin FC 4
Marin FC Scorers: Carroll, Martin, Evans, Altman
Despite coming into the game clear at the top of the table, Marin FC were given an early challenge by EBU Bay Oaks. Early play was back-and-forth and it wasn’t until Olivia Carroll’s near post shot hit the back of the Bay Oak net in the 29th minute that the momentum began to switch for either team. After both teams hit the crossbar, Taylor Martin doubled Marin’s advantage in the 55th minute after latching onto a loose ball before Jenna Evans and Margarat Altman both scored late to round out a 4-0 victory.

Elk Grove Soccer 2 – Sacramento United 3
Sac United Scorers: Romo (2), own goal
Elk Grove Scorers: Ledesma, Nguyen
Coming in as the favorites, first-place Sacramento United were given a scare an early scare against Elk Grove Soccer as Elizabeth Ledesma scored early to put the hosts up 1-0. But United proved why they’re at the top of the table, with Micaela Romo scoring a brace to take a lead after an Elk Grove allowed an own goal as well. Geneva Nguyen also scored for the hosts, but it wasn’t enough as they fell 3-2.
U16 Boys NPL 1 East
San Juan SC 1 – Davis Legacy 4
Davis Scorer: Guerra (2), Ruiz, Gray
San Juan Scorer: Moll
While San Juan scored first in this game through Josh Moll, Davis Legacy were quick to get back in it on the road, with Rigo Guerra leveling up the game in the 32nd minute with one of his two goals on the night. The game then stayed at a deadlock all the way until the 68th minute, where the Legacy scored three times in six minutes through another Guerra strike and goals from Daniel Ruiz and Michael Gray.
U17 Boys NPL 1 North
Heritage SC 3 – California Odyssey 1
Heritage Scorer: Villegas (3)
Odyssey Scorer: Huerta
In a matchup against two top-of-the table sides, Heritage SC’s Justin Villegas made the difference in downing a strong California Odyssey side in a 3-1 victory. Villegas scored in the 37th, 50th, and 87th minute to give his side a valuable three points, while visitors California could only manage a 43rd minute strike from Andrew Huerta.
