U16 Girls Champions League

PSV Union vs. MVLA Barcelona 04

After a season away from NPL play, PSV Union, historically one of the strongest girls clubs, are back. Their first opponents will surely test PSV as they face a tough MVLA side that wiped out all competition last year en route to the 2017-18 NorCal NPL title. NPL Matchday will be on-site covering all of the action.

U17 Boys NPL 1 North

Santa Rosa United Gold vs Placer United NPL
8/25: 11:15 AM @ Trione

While Placer United finished second in the NPL Champions League in the spring, don’t count out their opponents in Santa Rosa United who made a run to the State Cup Final last year, only to lose out on the title on penalties.

U17 Girls Champions League

Vision Academy vs Livermore Fusion Maroon
8/25: 4:00 PM @ Del Monte

In a rematch of the 2018 State Cup Final, Livermore Fusion will look to get revenge on Vision, who defeated them in penalties after a scoreless draw this past June.

U16 Boys NPL 1 North

Ceres Earthquake vs Merced United Green
8/25: 5:00 PM @ Ceres River Bluff Park

If the rematch of last year’s U15 Boys State Cup Final is anything like the previous game, expect a barnburner as Ceres Earthquake will look to avenge a 6-4 loss against Merced United, who have merged with Central Valley Leon, the victor of last spring’s match.
