West Coast Soccer Accepted into ECNL Regional League – NorCal
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 19, 2025) – NorCal Premier Soccer is pleased to announce the addition of West Coast Soccer into the ECNL Regional League Girls – NorCal Division, beginning in the 2025/26 season.
West Coast becomes the fourth club to join the NorCal Division of the ECNL Regional League, alongside AC Marin, SF Elite Academy, and South Valley United, after 25 clubs were originally announced as founding members.
For more than a decade, West Coast Soccer has been one of the top clubs competing in NorCal’s various competitions, with several teams constantly in the running for league and State Cup titles.
“West Coast’s inclusion in the ECNL Regional League Girls – NorCal Division will only strengthen the quality of the league and ensure that each club involved will face top-level competition when they step on the field,” said NorCal Director of Competitions Daniel Chamberlain. “Their choice to join this competition is a testament to the quality of the ECNL RL structure that we’re now offering.”
Added West Coast Director of Coaching Troy Dayak: “We are honored to join ECNL RL – NorCal. This league aligns perfectly with our club’s mission to foster player development and support long-term growth, all while strengthening our club culture. Being part of the foundation of a new platform grounded in NorCal’s club-centric philosophy is an exciting opportunity. This allows us to prioritize the needs and preferences of our members, staff, and overall operations. This focus empowers us to create a positive and engaging experience for everyone involved.”
The clubs selected to be members of the updated ECNL RL – NorCal division are top-performing boys and girls programs within NorCal Premier Soccer. Clubs were evaluated based on the quality of the teams and their performance in NorCal competitions over the past three years, a
review of their technical standards, and their adherence to NorCal administrative standards.
“The addition of West Coast Soccer into this division shows how strong, robust, and impactful this league is for players, teams, and clubs,” said ECNL-RL Commissioner Chris Leahey. “West Coast will add significant quality to the league, will compete for championships, and their players will be challenged and showcased in the nation’s top competition pathway.”
