In a match in which Livermore Fusion goalkeeper Sierra Street stood on her head to keep Vision scoreless, this game always seemed destined to go to kicks from the mark. Livermore, who had yet to surrender a goal in the knockout rounds of the tournament, continued that trend in keeping NPL Champions League side Vision scoreless through regular time and overtime. But in the shootout, Vision ended up showing slightly better than Livermore to win 4-3 on spot kicks to take home a State title.
