In what was a dream run for two non-NPL sides, Manteca FC scored just two minutes into the match to put their stamp on the game, with Emiliano Sanchez tapping the ball into an empty net after a defensive mixup from ECFC. This was only a sign of things to come as just after halftime, Sanchez crossed to the back post for Joel Velasquez to finish what would eventually be the winner. Edison Ramirez would then add a third for Manteca after tapping in a rebounded Sanchez shot before ECFC pulled one back through Alejandro Ibarra Moreno. But there would be no comeback on the cards as Manteca scored a further two, with Salvador Coronado Jr. and Alexander Soto each putting their names on the scoresheet before time was up.
