Man of the Match: Roberto Mejia-Alberto

Though the record book will show that Milan Forza came out on top of this one via a 3-0 scoreline, this was the match of the bunch that was perhaps least indicative of the end scoreline.

Both sides attacked early and often and were unlucky not to open the scoring before Roberto Mejia Alberto did in the 72nd minute.

Taking down a cleverly-lobbed ball from from his brother, Beni, Mejia Alberto smashed a strike into the lower right corner of the net that served as the eventual game winner.

From there, Milan’s fluid attack, featuring a series of quick passes and skillful play took over. Beni Mejia Alberto joined his brother on the scoresheet with a cool chip of the goalkeeper from 25 yards out, before Luis Brambia capped off the scoring late in stoppage time off a header from a Roberto Mejia Alberto feed.
