| While the West Coast Wild were the more impressive of the two sides in the semifinals, knocking off a tough Blues FC side 4-1 in a comeback victory, it’s the Davis Legacy who come into the match as the favorites. The Legacy haven’t lost in all competitions in nearly a year, and captured the NPL Champions League title with a perfect 7-0-0 record. If there’s anything to worry about for Davis, though, it’s their penchant for allowing early goals -- both their quarterfinal and semifinal wins came after their opponents scored first. Both sides have a player coming off scoring a brace in the semifinals with Delanie Sheehan scoring twice for West Coast and Mia Root tallying a pair for Davis. |
