U17 BOYS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Two results is all that stands in between 5-0-0 Santa Clara Sporting claiming the Boys U17 Champions League title. In order to garner those four points, though, they face stiff competition this weekend, with matches against second-place Atletico Santa Rosa (4-1-0) and third-place Galt (3-1-1). Should Santa Clara garner at least a draw in each match, they’ll take home the title, however a win against Galt and a loss to Santa Rosa would mean that Atletico could take home the title, while Galt can only win if they win both of their games and Atletico beats Santa Clara, but loses to MVLA (1-4-0) on Sunday.

U17 BOYS NPL 1
Even though the matches in the Boys U17 NPL 1 division won’t conclude until after this weekend, first-place Heritage (5-0-0) can capture the title with a pair of wins against third-place Lamorinda (2-1-0) and seventh-place San Juan (1-3-1). Even if Heritage slip up, second-place California Odyssey (3-2-0) can’t capture the title as Heritage owns the head-to-head tiebreaker, meaning that the only other team that can win this division is Lamorinda, and they will have to win out to do so.

U17 BOYS NPL 2
Possibly one of the most wide-open divisions of any NPL, the Boys U17 NPL 2 nears an end with five of the eight sides having a realistic chance to claim the title. San Juan (3-1-1) come in as the favorites with 10 points, but Monarcas Academy (3-2-0) and Ballistic United (3-2-0) stand just one point behind. After that, Central California Soccer Alliance (2-2-0) and SF Elite Academy (2-2-0) are three points out of second, but have a game in hand on everyone else.

In a division where first and last place are separated by just five points, and games don’t wrap up for another three weeks, it’s hard to predict the future in the Boys U17 NPL 3. Tottenham Hotspur East Bay (2-2-1) currently top the division with seven points, but second-place Impact (2-1-0) and third-place Star Academy (1-0-2) each have two games in hand on Tottenham. Davis Legacy (1-2-1) and Almaden FC (0-1-2) aren’t out of the title race either, with each side also having games in hand on Tottenham.
