As the calendar turns into October, the action is heating up in the NorCal Premier Soccer State Cup, the largest state cup competition in the country. For many teams this weekend, the group stage concludes, especially in the U9 and U10 divisions where teams will be fighting for bracket placement and seeding, with most matches kicking off on Sunday.

In order to secure the top spot in Group K, they'll need a win or a tie against MVLA, who are 1-1 so far, but could win the group with a victory Sunday. |
