Both Mustang SC and MVLA continued their perfect starts to the season in the U17 Girls Champions League, with the former picking up a win and the latter garnering a pair to give them 30 points and 24 points, respectively. Both sides also eclipsed the 50-goal mark and have such a commanding position in the table that their meeting next year will likely decide the title. The pair of squads even gained a bigger lead this past weekend as third-place Pleasanton Rage won on Saturday but dropped a 1-0 result to Marin FC Sunday to widen the gap between the top two and everyone else.

Like in the Champions League, the top two teams in the NPL 1 each were perfect this weekend as Blackhawks SC and California Magic each picked up a pair of wins to move to 24 and 21 points, respectively. IR Academy also did well, winning both their games to move onto 20 points.
