15 NorCal Teams To Take Part In ECNL-RL West Playoffs
The ECNL Regional League playoffs kick off Friday in Norco, with 15 girls teams from Northern California in the field of this respected competition.
Each team qualified based on their league standing in this spring’s ECNL-RL and will now face other teams from the Western region, with spots in next month’s Finals up for grabs.
“This is a great opportunity for our girls teams to play against more of the top level competition that the ECNL-RL provides,” said NorCal Premier Soccer NPL Commissioner Kelcey Chaidez. “We expect the quality of our teams to match up well with those from the Northwest and Southwest regions.”
Each team will play a minimum of two games between Friday and Sunday, with the top two teams in each age group earning spots in July’s Richmond-based finals.
Overall 13 different clubs are sending teams to the competition, with MVLA and Stanislaus United each represented twice.
The other clubs are Allstars United, Blackhawks SC, Burlingame SC, De Anza Force, Folsom Lake Surf, Pajaro Valley United, North Coast FC, San Carlos United, San Juan SC, San Juan South, and Walnut Creek Surf.
