Sacramento Playdate: Introducing 6v6 Format to U13-U19 Teams

Boys: Saturday, June 21st
Girls: Sunday, June 22nd
Ages: Open to U8-U19

NorCal is excited to announce we’ve expanded our Sacramento Playdate to include U13-U19 teams in a new 6v6 format, giving older age groups an opportunity to join our Playdates for the first time in a fun new format.

“6v6 is an exciting, small-sided event designed to maximize touches, creativity, and fun,” said NorCal Director of Competitions Dan Chamberlain. “This one-day playdate offers a fast-paced, development-focused format with three 40-minute games and no standings or trophies—just pure soccer. It’s the perfect opportunity for teams to stay sharp, build chemistry, and enjoy a competitive, pressure-free environment during the off season.”

EVENT DETAILS

• Location: Granite Regional Park, 8200 Ramona Ave, Sacramento, CA 95826
• June 21, 2025: Boys Playdate U8-U19
• June 22, 2025: Girls Playdate U8-U19
• Application Deadline: June 9th (Register)

FORMAT

• U8-U12 play 7v7 & 9v9
• NEW U13-U19 play 6v6 
• 1 day, 3 games @ 40 minutes each
• Cost: $250
• No trophies or standings

OTHER INFO

No guest players are allowed. All players must hold valid 24/25 US Club passes from their registered club.

• US Club does offer a summer pass option for players new to the club.
• Please use the 24/25 age grouping when selecting Event Age on your application.
• Teams will be limited to 12 players on their roster. If you plan on splitting your team into two teams to compete in the Sacramento Playdate, you must submit two separate applications. We recommend submitting one application with your team’s main GotSport account, then creating a second account specifically for the Playdate. When creating your second account, we strongly recommend that you include the full name of your original team in the account so that we can properly seed your team.
• A club admin must register your team for the 2024/25 Passcards & Rosters “event” before this application can be completed – INSTRUCTIONS
• All players and coaches must have 2024/25 US Club Passes for this event
• You must pay the event fee by credit/debit card in order to submit this application. Your application will show as “Pending” until payment is made. If you are requesting a team to play please email ataylor@norcalpremier.com prior to sign up.

U17 – 2009 playing 6v6 (New for 2025)

U18 – 2008 playing 6v6 (New for 2025)

U19 – 2007 playing 6v6 (New for 2025)
